This is a free online converter tool that takes plain text as the input and returns HTML code.

This text to html translator will clean up text pasted from a word documents, text files or similar and remove all unnecessay formatting. Each line of text will be wrapped in a html paragraph tag like this <p>paragraph</p>. HTML characters and other illegal characters such as pound signs will be encoded so they can display safely on the web. Email addresses will be turned into links so a user can click them. Web addresses starting with www. will also be converted to links and web addresses starting with http:// will be converted to links with the target="blank" attribute added.
